What a wonderful man and a wonderful life! He will be missed but never forgotten.

My Theo George was a beautiful man inside and out-a very special person whom I admired, adored, loved, respected and thoroughly enjoyed being around. I will always remember him for his sweet, gentle, kind, thoughtful, humorous, generous, and loving ways-a blessing from God. I have so many wonderful memories of the fun and happy times spent with him,Thea Frieda, Michael, and Dean in Fond Du Lac, Florida, and California, and I always wished we lived near each other so we could be together more often. I celebrate my dear Theo for living a great life which was centered around God, family and friends, and for his unselfish service to our country. He was truly one in a million. I will dearly miss him, and he will always hold a special place in my heart. Thea Frieda, Michael, and Dean, I send you my love and deepest sympathy, and share in your sorrow. God be with you.

There truly are no words to describe what a wonderful person he was, and such a blessing to have him as my uncle/theo. Our times together with him and Thea Frieda, Michael & Dean in Fond du Lac and later on in California are, and always will, hold a very special place in my heart. He was all of those things -- kind, loving, generous, tons of fun, positive. a man of God -- and so much more. He was the type of person that you couldn't get enough of and couldn't wait to see again. To say he will be missed is an understatement, but those who live in the Lord never see each other for the last time. So until then . . .

Theo will be truly missed. My Dad, an only child, thought of him as a brother. Theo had a smile that would light up a room. His personality was genuine and kind. I loved his sense of humor; he would always make me laugh. I remember the fun times in Fond Du Lac when we all got together. Those memories will always be with me and hold a special place in my heart. My love and sympathy to Thea, Michael and Dean.

I remember George with a fond memory. He was my first "real" boss out in this big world! I was 16 years old when I worked at George's Town House in Vermillion. He was like a protective father to me. I remember one time he came to my rescue and told a creepy guy who was bothering me to leave! I have had many bosses since then. But none never ever measured up to my first boss. He made a huge impression me as a young girl. Freida, Mike and Dean, I wanted you to know how much he was admired and loved. He set the standards high on how to be a great husband and father. He will be missed. I am thinking of everyone left to live life without him; until you meet again!

I loved George's sense of humor. I always admired George & Frieda's love of family & their work ethic. I worked for George & Frieda in Vermillion. Whenever I turned in an order for chicken strips, George would laugh and answer back "Chicken burlesque!". I always chuckle about that when I see chicken strips on a menu. George was a great example to me of what a kind and loving family man should be. Peace be with all of you.
