We’ve had the pleasure to have known Dean since he was a little boy and we watched over the years as his life unfolded. There were bumps in the road but he dealt with them one by one and matured and overcame. He had love for family, his concern, pride, love and heart was always with his 3 children. When he moved to Odessa he added new memories being close to his parents and able to see more of his brother. Dean and his mom had a “special” deep bond that warmed your heart and made you realize it was everlasting. Dean was a hard worker, dependable and respectable. He was a man of few words but that was Dean’s way. We will miss you and even though cancer has taken you from us … it cannot take away our memories as you will be in our hearts forever!

Dean and I were cousins and growing up we saw each other at Christmas in Jersey. Every Christmas we traveled from Ohio to see the family. We also visited him and family in Florida when we were teenagers. Love him even hundreds of miles away. Love you Dean.

There are no words that can express how much my heart hurts. Fred, Kendalyn and I had just come in from outside watching a rainbow when I got Jimmy's call. There was bright bright sunshine and suddenly pouring sparkly rain, followed by a hugh beautiful rainbow. I thought of Dean and looked at the clock. I will always be thankful that I was able to stay with him in his home the last 5 weeks he lived there. He will always have a special place in my heart. Betty, Don, Jimmy, Tina, Curtis, Shelby, Matt, Ryan, and Kristen my heart breaks for you. Sending lots of love, hugs, kisses, and prayers.
