Dede was a wonderful person who cared not only for her immediate family, but for her extended family as well. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

My brother Art was married to one of the sweetest giving persons filled with kindness who was a wonderful mother. Dede was especially compassionate with her adopted daughter Shannon. After Art’s passing she honored his memory taking care of Shannon making sure she was cared for both before and after her passing. We always referred to Art as Saint Daddy and Dede surely was Saint Mommy. Through the years it was difficult to get Dede to look at the camera. However, there is one picture of her and Anne at Martha’s 80th birthday where she looked her best in her later years. Growing old is difficult and happens fast, as we age we have trials and tribulations we all will go through. Inevitably, we wind up with the same outcome. My main regret is we could not spend more time together given our own problems going through the aging process. Dede we love you and know that given your love and faith you are now with Art.
