Spencer Page Ferrey

April 27, 1947 - July 30, 2019

Spencer Page Ferrey, 72, died unexpectedly July 30, 2019 with his companion, Karen Shea and family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth Page Ferrey and Russell Harrison Ferrey. He was born in Rochester, New York; attended Fishburn Military Academy and Old Dominion University. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Policeman in the Military District of Washington. Mr. Ferrey passionately spent his retirement boating, fishing and cruising with family and friends. He was a dedicated member and on the Board of Directors of the Gulf Harbors Yacht Club.
He is survived by his companion, Karen Shea; two daughters, Laura Page Wackett (Greg) and Catherine Megan Ferrey-Carroll (Rick); three grandchildren, Taylor Marie Wackett, Patrick Alexander and Samantha Joanne Carroll; and two sisters, Dayl Reid-Roberts and Elizabeth Godburn.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be August 31, 3 pm at Gulf Harbors Yacht Club, 3926 Marine Pkwy, New Port Richey, Florida 34652
Mr. Ferrey will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, details are not available at this time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Gulf Harbors Yacht Club Scholarship Fund or the Youth Sailing Program, New Port Richey, Florida 34652.
