Spangle, Sarah Dympna (Hannick), born March 29, 1925, of New Port Richey, Fl, formerly of Norwalk, Ct. and Ballina, Co. Mayo, Ireland, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2016, St. Patrick’s Day, in the HPH Hospice.  Sarah is survived by her loving husband John, her children Kathleen Pearse (Ireland), Maureen Cunningham (Conn.), Michael Spangle (Minnesota), Ann Boise (Montana), and Valerie Williams (New Port Richey).  She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Lorraine Rackiewicz, in 2014. Sarah is also survived by her grandchildren; Adam, Owen, Morgan, Heather, Christa, Kerry, Yvonne, Joanne, Aislinn, Sarah, David, Conor and 2 great-grandchildren; Iyla and Noah; sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Sarah was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and a proud member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Sons and Daughters of Erin. She will be sadly missed by her family and faithful friends, may she rest in peace.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30pm at Michels-Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, followed by a noon mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 5340 High Street, New Port Richey. Online condolences may be offered at Memorial donations may be made at to HPH Hospice in Sarah’s memory.
