Robert Voza

Voza, Robert, 73, of New Port Richey, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2018 at the Marliere Care Center in New Port Richey, Florida. Robert was born on December 4, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of the late, Antonio and Josephine (Sansevero) Voza. Robert proudly served in the United states Army. He served from 1965 to 1968 and was in the Airborne Special Forces. Robert moved to Florida in 1971, coming from Huntington, New York. He was the owner and operator of his own business, Salon Dejan, where he specialized in hair replacement. He was a member of the New Port Richey Rotary Club and was a member at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and being on the water. In his spare time he enjoyed boating, fishing, scuba diving and scalloping.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Fran Voza; and children, Danielle (Sean) Musselman and Nicole (Greg Gancer) Voza. A memorial mass is to be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family please ask for donations to be made to the HPH Marliere Hospice Care Center.

Robert will be laid peacefully to rest with his fellow comrades in the Florida National Cemetery. A military honors service will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11:30 am.
