Gifts & Memorial Donations

Grady Frank Duvall, “Pete”, age 63, passed away at home on August 8, 2019. He was born April 6, 1956 in Trenton, NJ to Donald and Arzilla Duvall. Pete attended school in the Cranberry Hightstown and Trenton public school systems. He also attended Mercer County Community College and Trenton State College after high school. He spent his working years primarily as a chef for restaurants and cruise lines. He also served his country in the US Army and National Guard.
Pete loved music, good food, and golf. He adored spending time with the little ones in his life and enjoyed gaming, especially Clash of the Clans. He was a voracious reader and was well-educated. He was so funny and unpredictable – you never knew what he’d say next! You had to stay on alert because he was so quick witted. His sense of humor and warmth will be fondly missed.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents and his dear grandparents, Grady and Mattie Coon. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ross Jackson; son, Troy Ross (Skiye); sister, Renee Duvall-Northern (Michael Northern); beloved nephews: Luis Torres, Robert Torres, and De’Andre Wallace; dear aunt, Betty Fowler (John); cousins: Kevin Fowler (Stephanie), Curtis Blackshear, Michael Fowler, and Sabrina Moses (Stanley); sister-in-law, Crystal Flounoy; brothers-in-law, Gregory Ross and Kim Ross; and close friends: John “Uncle Ducky” Burns, Carolyn “Ya Ya” Coleman, Jocelyn Jancinto, Delema Wallace; and the Crawford brothers; and countless more dear family members and friends.
A memorial service for Pete will be held by the family at their convenience.
