Michael "Chase" DeSimone

November 12, 1988 - September 1, 2020

Michael Chase DeSimone, 31, passed away unexpectedly on September 1 2020 at his home in Tampa, Florida. He was called “Chase” by those who knew and loved him. Chase was born in Riverhead, New York and moved to Florida in 1991. Chase was engaged to be married to the love of his life, Melanie Marro, who he met in high school. Next to Melanie, the thing he loved most, like his brothers, was working out at the gym and looking at any mirror he passed. Chase was a skilled craftsmen working mainly in carpentry and used those talents to be of assistance to those in need. Chase had a great love of muscle cars and driving fast. He had a kind and loving heart and would do anything for anybody. He loved the Lord and strived to live according to his will.

He is survived by his fiancé, Melanie Marro, (extended family, Peggy and Douglas Marro); his mother, Colette DeSimone; his father, Edward Desimone (Bruni DeSimone); his sister, Nicole DeSimone and brothers, Edward Desimone (Amanda Southern) Justin DeSimone , Jordan DeSimone and Alexander DeSimone. He had a special place in his heart for his niece, Isabella DeSimone. He loved all of his nieces and nephews, Bryce, Sophia, Adrianna, Dalton, Malachi and Elijah.

Chase was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.  A visitation will take place at the Michels & Lundquist funeral home on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 1-3 pm; a funeral service is to follow at 3 pm.
