Mary Frances Vick

Mary Frances Vick, age 91, passed away May 7, 2021. She was born October 18, 1929 in Conestee, SC to Marie and Claude Summey. Mary married very young and had seven children: Tom (Ann), Linda Griffin, Frances (Steve) Woods, Don (Daphne), Ken (Tammy), Steve (Debbie), and Dottie DiRico. Mary has 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. She was so proud of her family and prayed for each one every night.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, Ken.

Mary was a good soldier of The Salvation Army all her life. She served as a Sunday School Teacher, Junior Soldier Leader, and Home League Member for many years in Greenville, SC.

Mary will be greatly missed by both family and friends.

A funeral service will be held for Mary at The Salvation Army Worship Center at 1625 N. Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10am with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Pete.  If you would like to make a donation in Mary’s name in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Salvation Army – Pasco Corps at 7745 Ridge Road, Port Richey, FL.
