Marie DeAnn (Steif) Harris, age 57, from Holiday, FL, passed away January 12, 2019.  She was born in San Pedro, CA, to Delores Ann Whitaker Steif (deceased) and Robert J. J. Steif, Sr.  She is survived by spouse James Harris of the home, daughter Alana Joi Wilkins (Billy), Land-O-Lakes, FL; son Anthony James Harris, Holiday, FL; father Robert, Sr. (Velma/”Micki”), Ellijay, GA; brothers Robert J. J. Steif, Jr., Morrow, OH; Jerry H. Jimenez, and Joshua W. Bryant (Amanda), Ellijay, GA. Marie (“Dede” as she was known to family and friends) lived in many places as a military dependent.  She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, cousin, and friend.  She liked helping others and put them before herself. Marie was of the Catholic faith.  She most recently enjoyed working as the assistant bookkeeper at the Greek Orthodox Church in Clearwater, FL. An informal memorial service for family and friends will be held 2pm Thursday, January 17, at Hudson Beach, FL, a place that held special meaning for Dede.  Location is at the public pavilion, immediately to the right of SAM’S Beach Bar, 6325 Clark St., Hudson, FL, 34667.  Per her wishes, Marie/Dede will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie’s memory to a HOSPICE of your choice.  Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5228 Trouble Creek Rd, New Port Richey, FL, 34652 is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to the family via
