Margaret J. Monticello, 87 of New Port Richey, passed away on September 28, 2015 at home.  Born in Passaic, NJ, she resided in Elizabeth, NJ before moving to Florida in 1988.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore Monticello of Elizabeth, NJ, parents John Murphy and Margaret Ward Murphy, a daughter Elaine Monticello and her granddaughter Jill Lecorchick of Old Bridge, NJ.   Margaret is survived by her daughter Kathleen Gregorin and husband Dale of Hazleton, PA, grandson Matthew Gregorin and wife Gabriela, granddaughter Tricia Rutherford and husband Scott.  Four great grandchildren, Kyle Locha, Isabella Gregorin, Kelsey and Emma Rutherford all of Old Bridge, NJ.  Nieces Catherine Monte and husband Sam of Winter Park, Florida, Barbara Mowens and husband Harland of Georgia and nephews Michael and Robert Murphy of NJ. Margaret was a HPH Hospice Volunteer for many years, a Eucharistic Minister for the home bound at St. Thomas Aquinas church, a member of the Single Ladies club at Heritage Lakes, a Board Member for the Architectural Group of Heritage Lakes, and the NJ club.   She was the Vice Region for the Catholic Daughters, a member of the Lazarus Group and The Prayer Group of St. Thomas Church.

A memorial gathering will be held at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home on Friday between 2pm and 5pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 3, 2015 at 12 noon at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in New Port Richey.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HPH Hospice Care of West Pasco, 6807 Rowan Road, New Port Richey, Florida 34653.
