Rathbun, John Irving, 65, of Port Richey, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2016. John was born on August 21, 1951 in Albion, Michigan. He was the son of the late, Jack and Betty Rathbun. John helped to bring the word of God to our community everyday, working as a Pastor for his church, Cornerstone Community Church of Pasco County. He touched many people’s lives and is remembered as a remarkable man who will be deeply missed by all.

John is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Patricia Rathbun; his sons, Larry and Michael Rathbun; stepdaughters, Katherine Smith and Deborah Beck; sisters, April, Laura and Rose; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous friends of his church community.

A memorial service for John is to take place on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 1 pm at the Cornerstone Community Church of God, located at 5708 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34652 . The family will begin welcoming guests at noon prior to the service beggining. There will also be a meal prepared following the services prepared by John’s church community.
