Gifts & Memorial Donations

Forget, John Daniel Jr, 60, of Hudson, passed away on July 28, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda and his siblings, Susan Robinson and Ed Forget. John’s colorful life and personality insured that he never knew a stranger, either in New York or Florida. John was the proud owner of Molly Malone’s in New Port Richey where he made countless close friends. In his off time John loved to ride his Harley with Linda sitting and singing behind him. John was a jack-of-all trades, fanatic baseball lover, and confidante to many. He was one of the funniest people on Earth. John was predeceased by his infant son, Daniel, and by Brooklyn, who didn’t know he was a dog. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 11 am to 2 pm which will be followed by a memorial service at 2 pm. Following services there will be a celebration of life at Molly Malone’s Irish Pub located in New Port Richey, Florida.

John was one of my dearest friends, a true character and a kind and gentle soul. My heart goes out to Linda, Ed, Susan and Francine and the hundreds of friends and acquaintances who grieve his loss. My one solace is that I know he and Brooklyn are together and smiling down on all of us.

Well, I was at a loss for words when I heard of John's passing. We first met John when he bought the 7's bar and transfer it into an Irish Pub/Bar. Had some great celebrations and some somber ones as well. John was always on que and was an upstanding front man for Molly Malone's. Thanks for the memories. Rest In Peace John
