Comerford, James J, 77, of Holiday, passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2015. James was born on April 8, 1937 in White House, New Jersey. He made his living as a Deputy for the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, where he would later retire from. He was a member of the Holiday Moose Club, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police of Pasco County, and a member of the International Police Association. He also enjoyed Bluegrass music and was a member in the Soggy Bottom Bluegrass Bunch. He is survived by his fiance, JoAnne Laskowski; daughters, Kathy Pileggi of Jupiter Beach, Florida, Carol Van Hoeson of Tucson, Arizona, & Heather Cabral of Newburyport, Massachusetts; son, Tom Laskowski of St. Simons Island, Georgia; brother, John Comerford of Wachulu, Arizona; and 6 grandchildren.
