Scott and Martha,
Sorry for your loss. Helen was a fabulous cook. I looked foreword to her and George come back to the states between assignment. They were very loving to everyone in the family. We always had invigorating conversation on people, politics and life. Helen always has an opinion on everything. Vera, grandma and Helen taught us how to cook and have family meals. I can not believe they worked so well in preparing great meals in such small kitchens.
They are all in a better place!

Helen was a good friend with a compassionate heart, especially for the needy. She served faithfully and cheerfully for many years at First United Methodist Church of New Port Richey and took on every task imaginable. One of her biggest smiles came when the church's cookbook was published and served as a fund raiser for the church's food pantry. I last saw Helen and Donald a few years back and we recognized each other immediately. Her many kindnesses will be remembered.
