George Nicholas Stein passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021. He was born in Chicago, IL on February 3, 1932. He was a loving, wonderful father, who will be truly missed. He is survived by daughters Laura, Lisa, and Linda, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Thursday February 25, 2021 at 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home. Funeral will proceed on Friday Feb 26, 20201 to Bushnell National Cemetery @ 11:00 AM.
George was a US Navy Veteran in the Korean War, serving aboard the Bennington, and honorably discharged. George was a meat manager for A&P food stores in Illinois and Jewel T. Upon moving to Florida, he went on to the Fire Academy to become a Firefighter/EMT, and was promoted to Arson Investigator for Pasco County, and served for many years. He retired 27 years ago to enjoy travelling with his wife. He is currently a member of St. Andrew the First Called Orthodox Church. He will be truly missed by his many friends and colleagues. Our hearts are broken by our loss, but we are inspired by his many good works and accomplishments while he was with us.

Lisa, Linda and Laura.... I was so very sorry to hear about your dad's passing. It is so very hard to lose one's "daddy". I know you have so many happy, fond memories of him that will help when you are missing him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.... Love to you all. Debbie and Richard
