Douglas James Barton, 82, passed away peacefully November 23, 2020. He was born in Rome, NY on October 10, 1938. He proudly served in the US Air Force. He worked as concrete piling cutter in the bridge building industry.

Douglas loved to fish and play guitar. He enjoyed telling his stories from his younger days and was always a jokester. He took an interest in family history and spent 15 years finding all the genealogical information he could on his dads side.

Douglas is survived by his children: Adrain Barton, Sharon Shay, and Ursula Hall; grandchildren: Ally Paetzold, Michaela Hall and Brevyn Hall; siblings, Greg Barton and Karen Ciotti; two nieces, seven nephews, nine grandnieces, nine grandnephews, four great nieces, and six great nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home.
