Deanna Lee Schultz

July 11, 1938 - September 12, 2021

Deanna Lee Schultz, age 83, of Brandon, FL, was called home to the Lord on September 12, 2021. She was born July 11, 1938 in Crandon, WI to Jesse and Dorothy Mullins. Deanna raised her family in Milwaukee, WI. She worked for many years as a cook in a nursing home. After retiring, she relocated to Florida about 25 years ago. She was Christian by faith and attended Springwater Church of Brandon, formerly Christ Center Fellowship.

Deanna was a woman who loved her family deeply. She traveled halfway around the world to visit her daughter and family when they were stationed in Japan. She helped raise her grandchildren and adored her great grandchildren. She had a photo wall full of their smiling faces that she admired daily. Raised on a farm in rural Wisconsin, Deanna loved nature and enjoyed hiking through national and state parks wherever she visited. Until a few years ago, she was always up for an adventure to a new city to see the sights. She also enjoyed sports, especially rodeo and football. Her favorite team was always the Green Bay Packers.

Deanna is survived by her children: Jackie, Jeff, Shary, and Jim; her brothers, Dick and Dean; her sisters, Coranna and Betty; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and many more who lovingly knew her as “Grandma Dee”.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12pm at Springwater Church of Brandon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Seasons Hospice in thanks of the excellent care they provided. Please click here to donate:

What our families say...

“When my sister-in-law passed away unexpectedly, me and my family were thrust into this process for the first time. Charlie Webster was my first and only contact with Michels & Lundquist and he was FANTASTIC from start to finish. He was sensitive, understanding and fully explained the process and made things easy for me during a very difficult time. The services were carried out flawlessly and the pricing was very reasonable. I am very thankful for his kind words and conscientious work. I would HIGHLY recommend Michels & Lundquist and Mr. Webster.”
