William Homer "Bill" Boase

May 22, 1927 - June 25, 2020

Bill Boase (93) passed away in Spring Hill, Florida.  Bill was born in Detroit, Michigan and was proud that he had worked for many auto manufacturers, including Hudson.  He retired after 38 years at GM with his beloved wife, Virginia (Hopkins) Boase to Port Richey in 1988.  Bill, also known as Homer, was a proud Marine having served in WW II.  Bill and Virginia were proud to serve as Boy Scout leaders for a troop of special needs children in Michigan.  Bill was an active member of the Lutheran Church throughout his life. They were also active members of the GM Retirees Club in Florida.  He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia, and daughters Linda (Rick, Ray) Pawlicki Hill and Karen (Art) Ridge. Bill is survived by his sons Randall (Jaclyn, Mag), Kenneth (Julie), Kevin (Kathy), and son-in-law Art Ridge (Barb) as well as 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great, great-grandchildren.  We will have a celebration of life event later this fall, due to the current environment.  Private burial will take place at the Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, FL.
