Gifts & Memorial Donations

Pastor Barney Steinberg entered into the  Kingdom of Heaven on Monday, May 23rd, 2021 after an arduous battle with cancer. He was only 56 years old.
Barney was born on November 25th, 1965 in Silver Spring, Maryland to George and Kay Steinberg. His father passed away when Barney was only 12 years old. He was very active in sports growing up and was well known as the Pittsburg Steelers number one fan.  In the late 1980s, Barney moved to Florida where he attended college and embarked on a successful career in sales.  During a period of adversity, Barney accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and devoted the rest of his life to not only spreading God’s word, but living it everyday. He graduated from Trinity College and became a pastor. He was a devoted father, a loving partner, and worked tirelessly to grow his own business.
Barney did so much for those around him. He was the type of man who would help anyone in need without a second thought. Everything he pursued in life he did with a passion that would inspire those around him to be the best they could be. There are few people in this world as generous, loving, and forgiving as Barney was.
Barney is survived by his four sons, Joshua, Tyler, Shane, and Gunner; his sisters, Robin and Ann; the love of his life, Jessica; his nieces Kellie, Tiffany, Dorianne and Kylie; and his two grandchildren.
The celebration of this great man’s life will be held at Michels and Lundquist Funeral Home on June 5th at 1:00 p.m.  Friends are welcome to join us at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Barney’s honor.
We will continue to celebrate his life for the remainder of our own. We love you Barney!
