Arthur D Betts IV, age 50 of Lutz, FL, and formerly Wallingford, CT, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 3, 2021. A memorial mass will be held for Artie on Friday, October 22 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Spring Hill, FL and Saturday, October 23 at 1 pm at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford, CT.

Artie was born May 31, 1971, in Meriden, CT, the son of Arthur Betts III and Julie Coffell.  Artie grew up in Wallingford, CT and graduated from Lyman Hall High School and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He worked as a sales rep for a commercial paving company in Florida and dreamed of having his own business. Artie was passionate about his family and many friends. He had a way of making everyone feel special and lived life to the fullest. He had many hobbies from golf, fishing, football, sporting events and travel.

Artie is survived by his daughter Meghan Dahood, her husband Travis, his three grandchildren Arianna, Talon, and Luca, his mother Julie Coffell, her husband Jim, his father Arthur Betts III, his wife Diane, his sister Andrea Flynn, her husband Mark, her sons Andrew and Daniel, his sister Allison Buser, her husband David, her children Jacob, Logan and Evelyn, his Aunt Carolyn Betts, her daughter Cari Battisa  and husband Stephen, their children Isabella and Benjamin, his Aunt Marie Betts, his uncle Vitas Martinenas, his wife Wendy, his daughters Stephanie and Halle, his aunt Dona Pastore, her husband Dan, her sons Casey and Adam, his best friend Frank Geremia, many more cousins and friends.
