Antoinette Theresa Helms, age 93, of Hudson, FL, passed away October 28, 2019. She was born March 29, 1926 in Bronx, NY to Thomas Saccomenno and Fannie Aurichio. She attended Brooklyn College and went on to become a successful business owner. She owned and operated Ann Mar Realty for many years before coming to Florida in 1988.
Antoinette had a giving spirit and was a woman of great faith. She volunteered wherever she could and loved to sing in the choir. She attended St. James The Apostle Catholic Church locally when she was able. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Antoinette is preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Helms. She is survived by her daughters, Anne Marie Conti (Joseph) and Francine Ingui (Mike); her grandchildren: Jeanette Gillespie (Brian), Jennifer Black (Zachary), Marissa Barnum (Jonathan), Maria Callahan (Jason), Jeanine Redd (Jason), and Michael Wasp (Maegan Gramling); and great grandchildren: Memphis, Hunter, Addison, Maddox, Ava and Kaydence.
Visiting Hours will be held Friday, November 1st from 4pm to 7pm at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Saturday at St. James The Apostle Catholic Church. Her burial will be private.
