Melvin Ray Staley, 85, of Tampa Bay, Pasco County, Bayonet Point, Florida Retired United States Air Force and Life Insurance Executive Mel was a Christian and dedicated husband and father. He missed his Britney Spaniel, Charly, who passed away in 2012. Survivors Include his Wife: Susan (Dillion) Barrett-Staley, Daughters: Diana (Keric) Kopecky; Dallas, Texas, Dana (Randy) Rothwell, Wilmington, North Carolina; Step-Daughter, Lori Dillion (Keith) Harding, Port Richey, Florida. Grandchildren: Blake Kopecky, Dallas, Texas, Melody (Eric) Spenser, Wilmington, S.C., Justin Harding, and Jeromy (Megan) Harding, Port Richey, Florida; Special Family & Friends: Sandra Nixon and Debbie Zullo. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warriors or Gulf-side Hospice.
