I was a freshman at JHS when Larry was a senior. I remember him always, always being exceedingly nice to me. Years later, we reconnected on Facebook and for a time played those silly farm games together and PM chatted often. He so wanted to have a hug BASH as he called it, for not only his class of 66 but anyone from the classes before and after him that attended JHS when he did. We talked on the phone a few times about making that happen. It did happen with members of his class and I recall hearing how lovely it was from those who attended. He cared so much about everyone. I will never forget him. Deepest sympathy to his family. Fly high Larry!

    Peggy Pack Schneider says:
Larry was a funny and kind man. After 4 years of high school, I got to know him best when he planned a Florida Bash for all the 1966 Jacksonville Illinois high school classmates. All of us that were able to come had a blast! Larry had everything planned down to the last detail. I am so grateful that we got to have this time together. Thank you, Larry. I will miss you.

Larry was a friend through out my high school years and later we stayed connected through Facebook. He will be missed by the 66ers and all those who got to know him well. I remember most his smile which was infectious and just made a person feel good. I send my prayers to the family.
