I'm so glad I got to see Joe at our NAS Alumni Reunion in 2014. I was able to tell him that I'd been asked at a seminar to rate the "most influential people in my life." And Joe was near the top of that list. He taught me the value of listening (and stop talking so much!!) He taught me to ask the hard questions in a sales setting - he'd say "don't throw softballs at them." Without him I'd probably still be selling newspaper ads in Tiffin, Ohio. He took a leap of faith and hired me out of my small hometown and gave me a management opportunity in Detroit. I wouldn't be where I am today without Joe. Thanks Big Guy. Some 45+ years from now, I'll see you in heaven. (what?? I think planning to live past 107 is totally realistic:)

Aileen & Chuck, I loved Joe. He was a great mentor to me when I was the Regional Manager for NAS in Pittsburgh and he was my Vice President. What a cool and calm man.. What a great "VOICE" too! Chuck, you have his voice.. A gentle giant. Always soft spoken and kind. I am so sad to hear about the loss of your husband, Aileen, and the loss of your father Chuckers. A bright light has left this earth and I am sorry for your loss. He will be missed. Sad indeed!

Aileen and Family, My Heartfelt Condolences to you. Joe was one of my brightest friends I have made through being Browns Backers. No matter how bad the Browns were playing I never saw him get down and always had a smile on his face. I truly appreciated his help with the Club through the years and he will be missed by many!
