--Isaiah 35:5,6--
I remember the trip to Pittsburg, the skinboard and how loved I felt to have that time with you.
The roller coasters when I was young now mirror those in life. You taught me to be a strong man and husband.
Today I vow to make you proud. To love and protect your wife and daughter till my last breath.
Thank you for the love, lessons and memories.
Faithful son,
Jay
One of my favorites was when dad wanted us to sweep the snow off the roof of our house. Of course John talked me into going up there to do it. When I was done sweeping the snow it was piled high around the house. So, he told me to jump in the mounds of snow instead of using the ladder to get down . And I did. When I landed my feet went straight through the snow on to the hard ground and I sprained my ankle. He laughed and I cried. But, John carried me in the house and wrapped my ankle. He made me an ice cream cone to get me to stop crying. All before Mom and Dad came home, of course.
Not only you're my brother but you are my best friend. I love you John. You will be in my heart forever and when I need you I know you will be there.
Your Brother,
Tommy
(1 John 5:2) When we love God, we are grateful for his grace & guidance, and want to give it to others. "As I have loved you, so you must love one another" (John 13:34).
Blessings, Joan & Dave
I am so proud to have given you your first born daughter, Gina Marie and 22 months later your second daughter, Stacy Ann. I know how much you loved them and how much your mom and dad were glad to finally have their first grandchildren ! Your brother, Tommy is still so proud to be "The GodFather ". In the grand scheme of life it didn't work out for us and I am so glad you married Diane and had yet another daughter, Michelle ! 3 beautiful daughters , in addition to raising Jay, as your own. And to your memory you now 2 grandsons, Liam & Trent ! You were a good man, John. Blessings of eternal peace to you. With love and memories, Janyce.
Missing you Dad
