John James Kopczyk, 96, formerly of New Port Richey, passed away Saturday May 7, 2016 at Horizon Bay Assisted Living Facility in Clearwater.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Florence who passed away in June of 2000. Joh is survived by his son John D. Kopczyk of Chicago, IL; his daughter Nancy Theesfield of Palm Harbor; Three grandchildren: Stacey, Rachel, and Jacob; and a great grand daughter Samantha.
All services will be held in Chicago, IL where he will be buried next to his wife at St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to
