Jane Anne Swartz

Jane Anne Swartz, age 58, of Tampa, passed away January 20, 2018.  Jane was born in Steubenville, OH to William Darryl Coffman and Martha Ann Willson on May 20, 1959.  She made her way to the Tampa Bay area in her 20s after attending nursing school.  She built her career in the healthcare field as an advanced registered nurse practitioner specializing in rheumatology.  In later years, she worked for IQVIA, assisting patients in learning how to administer shots to themselves.

Jane was a very active lady.  She loved to travel, taking trips all over the world with her family.  She was also a member of the Krewe of Pandora, an organization dedicated to providing a place for women to socialize, network, and mentor younger generations aside from being involved in the Gasparilla event each year.  Jane also loved dogs.  She was especially fond of golden retrievers and supported her local SPCA.

Jane and her husband, William, were involved in a terrible car accident on December 5, 2017 and aside from her parents, her husband of 15 years also precedes her in death, having passed away the day of the accident.  Jane is survived by her siblings: Ralph Coffman, David Coffman, and Faye Ellen Brown; her niece, Nicole Brown; her nephew, Chris Brown; and countless dear friends and extended family.

A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Golden Retriever Rescue Society.
